The Holy Bible Q & A Corner
Truth vs. Fallacy
ref: The Holy Bible KJV (Old Testament and New Testament)
HB software is used to better understand and connect topical meanings by 2 or 3 writers within the HB. Scripture MUST and does interpret Scripture for more clarity and divine understanding comes! After that, one can better apply better choices of Hebrew and Greek definitions for even more clarity.
''2Corinthians 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the
mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.''
''Matthew 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.''
''Acts 20:27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you ALL the
counsel of God.''
ANSWERS GIVEN, ARE ONLY ''SHORT EXPLANATIONS'' !!!
1) Angela asks:
Q: Is ''tithing'' biblical according to the Bible?
A: Tithing was a concept that Jacob spoke about in the OT because his grandfather Abraham, gave tithes to Melchizedek, a king and priest of God. That became a tradition when the Priesthood was established in and for Israel to support that ministry to the People. It was a commandment of then.
We now have a new Priest and King in Jesus Christ in the NT, that did not tithe but gave tribute instead. Tribute was more like giving of something of value as an honor and not a commandment, to keep peace. In the early church, they gave all of what they possessed because the value of the Holy Spirit given to the church was beyond any earthly value.
To give tribute, to give according to value, creates a situation that keeps the receiver of the tribute accountable to the accuracy, and if a piece of information is inspired, to build the faith of one that gives tribute. If the minister was worthy of a tribute, the Holy Spirit was the one that would instruct one to give according to the value of the minister. To be forced to give could be construed as extortion, especially for an ''imagined doctrine'' or fallacy.
ref: Hebrews 7:5-22, Romans 13:6-7, 2Corinthians 9:7.
2) Jonathan asks:
Q: What is the Great Commission (GC) of then and today?
A: The GC was a commandment to the Apostles to be sent forth by the HS to proclaim God's New Beginning and the better way to live out a life acceptable to God by what JC brought forth and the teaching of the HS. It was to reach out and teach to those that were living out of the Way of the Lord, to become a living and inspired People of God.
The GC was executed and was conditional upon the People of God that worshipped and lived lives separated unto God on a 24/7 basis. They were the faithful that lived by the Word of God that created continual prayer. The more they practiced that discipline, the more God blessed them AND THEN GOD ADDED to their numbers (3000) to teach and disciple those provided by God. It was the Lord that commanded His sanctified/faithful ones to teach and preach.
ref: 2Chronicles 31:18, Isaiah 13:3, Matthew 28:17-20, Mark 16:15-18, 1Timothy 4:4-5.
3) Tiffany asks:
Q: If there are no marriages in Heaven, why marry here in this life?
A: Marriage was created for many reasons. It was about the importance of Man staying bonded with God, just like a marriage between a man and a woman. When in Heaven, we will all be bonded together as a family.
ref: Jeremiah 3:14, Mark 12:25.
4) Paul asks:
Q: What is true righteousness?
A: True righteousness was based upon the holiness of God. It was granted to those that would believe and maintain faith in the Lord. It was a gift from God! One can do many things right according to the Law, but then we can create our own righteousness and then can say we are ''good people'', when only God is good, according to what Jesus said. Our righteousness compared to God, is like filthy rags.
Jesus Christ, our gift from God, is our Righteousness!
ref: Job 32:1, Isaiah 64:6, Matthew 5:20, Romans 1:17, 5:17, 6:18, 10:3, 1Corinthians 1:30, 15:34, 2Corinthians 6:14, Ephesians 4:24.
5) Kendra asks:
Q: What type and size of church should I attend?
A: The early church had 120 members in it. That seems to be about the right size so it is more of a fellowship than a mega-church that is like an ocean we can drown in. Intimacy, along with HB based discipleship is critical to keep us reminded to work out and live out our walk with God on a daily basis. If the pastor does not do this, one should pray for direction and consider looking for another group. The larger the church, the more one can become a number and not a person.
ref: Acts 1:14-15, 1Corinthians 10:20, Hebrews 10:25.
6) Chris asks:
Q: What does 'covered in the blood' mean?
A: In OT culture, the blood also was slang for what one would take into as information to live by. The blood of Jesus Christ was the doctrine of the forgiveness of sin. We can stay covered in that blood/doctrine, but we must exercise it power by staying within the Word of God that reveals any real-time sin.
ref: Leviticus 17:11, Proverbs 28:17, Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14, Revelation 7:14, 12:11.
7) Peter asks:
Q: What is the prosperity of God?
A: The prosperity of God is a spiritual prosperity, we seek to find the many informational riches, the knowledge of God, for the spirit in our minds. Those riches cannot be taken away. The prosperity of the world are things that are tangible and cannot love a person back. Good people are earthly riches that will love you back with a caring heart.
ref: Genesis 39:23, Deuteronomy 23:6, 29:9, Joshua 1:7-8, Job 8:6, Psalms 73:3, Proverbs 1:32, Ecclesiastes 7:14.
8) Tina asks:
Q: What is the Day of the Lord?
A: The day/watch concept is a riddle, that few understand, in the HB. A day to the a person of God is like a watch in the night. To spend a watch with the Lord feels like a thousand years have passed. There were 3 watches in the OT and in the NT there are now 4. The Day of the Lord can be any one of the watches, but usually the 4th watch, 3 to 6 AM, the morning watch. Jesus appeared and did many things.
ref: Exodus 14:24, Psalms 90:4, 130:6, 1Peter 4:7, 2Peter 3:10, Matthew 14:24, Mark 13:35 & 37, Revelation 3:3.
9) David asks:
Q: What is a good soldier?
A: A good soldier does not entangle himself or herself with the affairs of this life but stays available to hear from Heaven to speak to others things of God.
ref: Acts 10:7, 2Timothy 2:3-4.
10) Beth asks:
Q: What does speaking with tongues mean in the HB?
A: Tongues have multiple function in the HB. The tongues was also the pen that was used to write down what God was speaking to His people. The various writings in the HB were written down with pens (tongues) for us today. The speaking with tongues in the HB referred to the many that the HS came upon and they spoke of the Scriptures that were written down, quoting them. It was not the babble we have been told it is. That is something the imagination can conjure up.
The Apostle Paul spoke with tongues more than any of the apostles, he wrote with his pen and referred to what others had written with their pens throughout the entire HB.
ref: Psalms 45:1, Mark 16:17, Acts 2:3-4, 11, 10:46, 19:16, 1Corinthians 12:10, 13:1, 14:18.
11) Sarah asks:
Q: Why are we called witnesses?
A: Witnesses of God were the people that way back when witnessed Gods miracles and provision in life. Today, we too can witness what God has done and is doing in our lives. Many of the witnesses within the HB wrote what God spoke to them and/also commented, in agreement with the HS the many things God spoke of and about.
ref: Joshua 24:22, Isaiah 43:10 & 12, 44:8, Hebrews 12:1.
12) Brian asks:
Q: What is the brain and its function?
A: The brain has two hemispheres, the left side has the character of the spirit in man and the right side is like the soul in man. They are supposed to communicate with one another all of the time. They both have their functions and have to stay balanced at all times to live a life of inspired progress. They are like fraternal twins, each one looking out for each other. They need God, by His Word, on a moment by moment basis, to keep them in a productive peace of mind.
In a metaphorical sense, it is like one side is God the Father and the other side the son of God, Jesus the Christ. The brain can also be likened to a husband (spirit) and wife (soul). They can be similar but different in function. They need to become one to bring forth children of God. It is also a storehouse of all kinds of information and emotion.
ref: Genesis 45:27, Job 7:11, Psalms 22:20, 35;17, Isaiah 26:9, 42:1, Malachi 3:10, Matthew 12:18, Luke 12:24, Hebrews 4:12.
13: Richard asks:
Q: What is the powerful imagination in the HB?
A: The imagination, in the brain, is on the emotional side, the right side. In the HB, it was given to Man to co-create or magnify what God had already created. For instance: cars, boats, computers, software, etc., anything that produces for an inspired life. It was given for good purposes and if not controlled by the HS, it can conjure up evil scenarios of destruction. Like an unruly child, it has to be subdued and controlled.
The brain's imagination (the right side), compared to the inspiration from God (the left side), are similar but both have their functions and have to stay tempered, controlled and balanced, by the HS.
ref: Genesis 6:5, 8:21, Deuteronomy 31:21, Job 32:8, Jeremiah 13:10, 23:17, 2Corinthians 10:5, 2Timothy 3:16.
14) Matt asks:
Q: What is fasting?
A: There are different kind of fasts. Some are physical and some spiritual, Spiritual fasts are to get away from noise, images created by Mankind, information from the world, audio speech or sounds, even music. That type of fast creates a peace that surpassed all understanding so one can hear one's thoughts along with the thoughts of and from God, whether from the HS or the HS within the HB.
One can also fast from partaking of the written Word of God and become spiritually famished to then become estranged from God.
ref: Psalms 35:13, 69:10, Daniel 9:3, Isaiah 53: 3-11, Nehemiah 1:4, Matthew 4:12.
15) Jeremy asks:
Q: What does a 'child of God' mean?
A: We are called to become children to be able to enter into the Presence of God, our Father. This is like being born anew (again) although bring a person of any age already. The old mindset must go so the new and renewed mindset of Christ can be formed in us.
ref: 1Kings 3:7, Proverbs 22:6, 23:24, 29:21, Matthew 18:12-13, Mark 10:15, John 1:12, 1Corinthians 13:11, Galatians 4:1-2, Hebrews 12: 5-10.
16) Helen asks:
Q: What is God's thanksgiving?
A: There is a physical thanksgiving where we say thank you or be spiritually thankful. One is by words spoken and the other by deeds done. The deed of spiritual thanksgiving is for one to bow the ear to hear and feed upon the Word of God. The function of spiritual thanksgiving is to feed and purge one's thinking, to then connect with God via the Word of God. This process of the will of God is be and stay led by the HS 24/7, hearing His instructional voice to live out a vibrant life.
ref: Ezra 3:11, Psalms 26:7, 95:2, Romans 14:6, Philippians 4:6, Colossians 3:17, 4:2, Ephesians 5:20, 1Timothy 2:1, Hebrews 13:15.
17) George asks:
Q: What is effective prayer?
A: Effective prayer is done via the act of spiritual thanksgiving, lifting up the holy hands of God within the Word of God. It was to become spiritually separated unto the HS and hearing what prayer was acceptable to God, having faith in the written Word that produces effective prayer. It is a mystery how this works, but it does!
ref: Psalms 141:2, 1Timothy 2:1, 2:8, John 9:31, 11:41, James 5:15-18, Revelation 8:4.
18) Jerry asks:
Q: Who and what are angels?
A: Angels are ministering spirits, chosen of God, to write down what God, via the HS, wanted the People of God to hear in this life. There were ministering angels sent to speak to those chosen of God that relayed profound thoughts to do things or create situations and/or solutions to problems Man created out of their wicked imaginations.
ref: 1Samuel 29:9, 2Samuel 14:17, 14:20, 19:27, Acts 6:15, Galatians 4:14, Hebrews 1:7, Revelation 2, 35, 7,8.
19) Irene asks:
Q: Why is it important to learn to read?
A: To read, especially inspired thought, purged and replaced the thoughts of this world, so one could live by an inspired thought life. Our own thoughts can be vain thoughts that do not profit us, so we need inspired thought to keep us clean and stirred up to live the way God intended Man to live.
Readers are leaders and leaders stay readers. To read is to feed one's inner being, to stay in a renewed state of mind, so as to stay productive and inspired.
ref: 1Chronicles 28:9, Job 17:11, Psalms 40:5, Isaiah 55:5-6, 65:2, Jeremiah 6:19.
20) TJ asks:
Q: What is the difference between a Pastor and a Priest?
A: A pastor is one part of the five parts of the five fold ministry. In the OT, it was Aaron and his 4 sons that made of the Priesthood to minister unto the Lord. The Priesthood would then convey what God wanted to speak to His people on a daily basis.
Today, we have Jesus Christ as our High Priest that governs the Priesthood that makes up the 5 ministerial positions or funtions of the earthly Church. A pastor can have multiple funtions, but rarely does one see a pastor that has all 5 functions.
If a pastor or a church leader do not follow and submit to the HS continually, what good are they? Those 5 roles are represented throughout the HB of then can be now.
ref: Jeremiah 2:8, 3:15, 10:21, 12:10, 17:16, 23:1-2, Ephesians 4:11.
21) Kevin asks:
Q: What is a Watchman?
A: A watchman or a watchperson was a person that God appeared to in any of the night watches to instruct and to convey real time information to those that were given to any watchman. The watches of now begin at 6 PM until 6AM in 4-3 hour segments. All ministers were required to live in awareness of the appearance of the HS. That also includes those in any household the Lord has chosen to also become His examples of holy living. Many are called by God and few are chosen to become what God wants.
ref: Psalms 90:4, 127:1, 141:3, Ezekiel 3:17, 33:7, Matthew 24:42, 25:13, 26:41, Mark 13: 33-38, Luke 12:38, 21:36, 1Corintians 16:13, Colossians 4:2, 1Thessalonians 5:6, 2Timothy 4:5, Hebrews 13:17, 1Peter 4:7, Revelation 3:3.
22) Tom asks:
Q: Why do I doubt at times?
A: Doubt in anything is lack of strong belief that those that have doubt will not prove out a concept or principle in life to their detriment of spiritual growth. To those that pursue and prove out a concept or principle, and the live by it, God gives a portion of His faith which can move mountains. In the account of the mountain being cast into the sea, Jesus was speaking of Him being like a mountain. A mountain, in that culture, was a person whose trust in God was complete and God did great things through that person.
ref: Psalms 125:1, Matthew 14:31, 21:21, Mark 11:23, Acts 2:12.
23) Terah asks:
Q: Why are there so many divided Church denomination?
A: A Church denomination is a group of people that have their standardized belief, usually from a traditional way of thinking, based upon a truth or multiple truths. Those truths are usually understood based upon a person's understanding of Scripture.
Denominations can have various truths it teaches to its people, but they can be riddled with fiction, fallacy and imagined truths, based upon imagined understandings. A truth of God have many meanings and one meaning can have an infinite understanding. Our minds are limited in what we can comprehend or understand compared to God's.
ref: 1Kings 8:27, 2Chronicles 2:6, Psalms 119:45, 147:5, Proverbs 6: 16;19, 2Timothy 2:7.
24) Steven asks:
Q: How can I tell if God really loves me?
A: God loves the world, including all that He created. It is and was Man that provoked Him and the was forced to live separated from God. God loves those that return to Him and walk uprightly and honor His Son and the HS.
God is like a close friend that sticks closer than a brother. A brother, spouse, a child or friend, show their love for you by caring and looking out for your best interests. Like a shepherd that cares for his sheep, the Lord cares for us. Love with care is of little value. God cares enough for any of us and will correct us to stay on the path He has created.
ref: Proverbs 17:17, 18:24, 1Peter 5:7, John 10:11-15, Hebrew 12:6-11.
25) Jack asks:
Q: How can I know I am forgiven and stay forgiven real-time?
A: The Word of God is our spiritual light. When taken in, it sheds light on any sin we could have committed at any given time. When revealed, we are required to confess that sin, by faith in His living Word, ask for the understanding of why we committed that sin, learn from it, forsake it, forget it and move on with a cleaned heart. We can now be led by the inspiration of God to have a great day, every day. If not, we stay stuck in our sin and life becomes sorrowful and miserable.
ref: Psalms 26:2, 32: 5-6, 90:8, Proverbs 28:13, Daniel 2:47, John 3:21, 15:3.
26) Jorge asks:
Q: Why were we created with 10 fingers, when fewer could work?
A: We were given 10 fingers for the law, the Ten Commandments, one for each finger, as a reminder of the importance of them. Fingers were also given for us to grasp things with strength. Also, the 10 fingers were for us to reach out for what was written in the Word of God, to better grasp the meaning of life, to then convey that in as we write with our fingers.
ref: Deuteronomy 9:10, Proverbs 7:1-2, Psalms 8:3, 144:1, John 8:6, 20:27.
